I stumbled upon Journey’s End Ranch Animal Sanctuary while surfing the internet about rescued mustangs. After reading Poco's wonderful true story, I had to help Poco and his pals. With permission from Catherine Ritlaw, author of the book, "Poco: The Brave Little Burro." I have digitally painted Poco and will give ALL profits to Journey’s End Ranch Animal Sanctuary.
Journey’s End Ranch Animal Sanctuary is run by president and founder, Catherine Ritlaw. A lifelong animal lover and veterinary technician for many years, she began actively rescuing dogs, cats, pigs, burros and fostering wild horses, focusing her efforts on animals with special needs -- like Poco -- and learning about ways to effect rehabilitation and continued care. Despite being abused, neglected and abandoned by humans, these precious animals are healing and thriving with Catherine's loving care.
